60 Minute Hot Stone Massage
Hot ( and sometimes cool) stones are integrated into a one hour therapeutic massage to address particular problem zones. Hot stones "melt" muscle tension, while cool stones reduce swelling & inflammation and are a refreshing addition to a massage on a hot day. Stones are NOT used on the entire body during a 60 minute massage, but will be applied according to the client's stated preference. Philippa has received advanced training in 3-Dimensional Hot Stone Therapy by the Institute for Phenomenal Touch.(Contraindications: Multiple sclerosis, pregnancy, contagious skin disorders. diabetic neuropathy)

90 Minute Hot Stone Massage
This is a luxurious specialty massage in which smooth,oiled, hot river stones are used to melt away stress and tension. The massage feels great, is soothing & nurturing. The heat penetrates and lasts. Stones are placed on the body and are also used to massage the muscles. This is a full body Hot Stone Treatment. Note: Occassionally cool stones are introduced to ease pain and reduce inflammation, or as a refreshing addition, should the client wish to cool down. Philippa has received advanced training in 3-Dimensional Hot Stone Therapy taught by The Institute for Phenomenal Touch.
